Fixation Academy partner with The Silverlinings Brain Injury Charity
Fixation Academy are pleased to announce that in September 2023 we launched a new partnership with the Silverlinings Brain Injury Charity. Silverlinings offers opportunities for all those affected by brain injury (Silverliners) to get involved in exciting and purposeful activities in the community. The service users include the brain injured and their family/friends who are often overlooked despite the effects brain injury can have on loved ones.
Each month, our teacher Chloe has been holding drama classes and hosting quiz nights for the wonderful Silverliners. They have been having so much fun! From looking at storytelling techniques, to character archetypes, improvisational skills and finding out where the name ‘Halloween’ originated from, the sessions have started with a roaring success! We really cannot wait to see where this new partnership leads us.
