Showdown Class
Our Showdown class runs at Finchley Youth Theatre, East Finchley at 10:00-15:00 each Monday during term time.
In Showdown we develop skills in the fundamental performing arts disciplines: singing, acting & dance, as well as look at other technical parts of production including set design and costume and prop making. Showdown is taught by a Creative Team made up of three Academy teachers who work with members towards creating, choreographing, and directing annual productions, which are performed in professional theatres in North London.
Our Creative Team also works to provide performance opportunities for our Showdown group in the local community at events and festivals, as well as organise regular theatre trips and other social opportunities.
In showdown we develop core skills including

Our Showdown class also includes a supervised lunch time 12:00-13:00 in which members are asked to bring their own packed lunch.
