Step into the graceful world of ballet with our Primary Ballet class, designed for children aged 6-8.

This class builds on the basics of ballet, offering young dancers a structured yet fun introduction to classical ballet techniques.

Through engaging exercises, imaginative movement, and age-appropriate choreography, Primary Ballet helps children develop discipline, coordination, and a deep love for dance.

What to Expect:

• Foundational Ballet Technique: Following the RAD Ballet Syllabus, students will learn and practice essential ballet positions, steps, and movements, including pliés, tendus, jetés, and more, laying a strong technical foundation.
• Posture & Alignment: Focus on proper posture, balance, and alignment, helping children to develop the strength and flexibility needed for ballet.
• Musicality & Rhythm: Dancers will explore how to move with the music, understanding rhythm and timing as they perform to classical and contemporary ballet music.
• Choreography & Performance: Children will have the opportunity to learn short, age-appropriate ballet routines, giving them a chance to express themselves through dance and experience the joy of performance.
• Creative Movement: While focusing on technique, the class also incorporates imaginative exercises and dance routines that allow students to explore movement creatively and build their own dance stories.
• Confidence & Discipline: Ballet encourages discipline and focus, helping children to build self-confidence and a sense of achievement as they master new skills.

How to Book a Trial Class

1. Click the button below to go to our booking page
2. Select your class, time & location
3. Scroll down to find the ‘Book Your Trial’ button (NOT ‘Book this Class’)
4. Create your parent account and add child information (if you do not already have a class4kids account|)
5. Make payment and that’s it!

You will receive a booking confirmation for your trial class. We look forward to seeing you there!

After Your Trial

• After your trial week you will asked via email if you would like to book a place in the class
• You will then be asked to set up your monthly subscription plan for your class payment
• Payments are taken on the 1st of every month
• Subscription payments are calculated by: Termly Fee x 3 (3 terms in a year) / over 11 months (no payment is taken in August as we have no classes in August)
• You can stop your subscription payment anytime, by writing with 4 weeks notice to subscriptions@fixationacademy.co.uk
