Laura Davitt – Founder & Academy Director

Laura founded Fixation Theatre Company in 2012 and welcomes over 200 members weekly through our three schools in High Barnet, Borehamwood & East Finchley.

Laura trained at Chickenshed Theatre Company achieving a BTEC and Foundation Degree (Hons) in Inclusive Performing Arts.

Laura graduated in 2011 from Middlesex University with a BA (Hons) Professional Practice In Theatre and Education; alongside this she is a fully qualified Youth Worker.

“I have been inspired by my musically talented family all my life, so developing my passion for performing was inevitable.”

Laura has worked within TV and Film featuring in features, pilots and web series for the BBC and E4; also performing professionally in theatre from a young age in renowned venues such as Wembley Arena, The Royal Albert Hall to the Piccadilly Theatre in London.

Creating Fixation has enabled Laura to combine what she is most passionate about; performing arts and young people – Giving them a voice and opportunities to thrive and have fun in an inclusive environment!
