Primary Ballet Class

Our Primary Ballet class follows the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet syllabus and is designed for young dancers, typically aged 5-7, who are building on foundational ballet skills and preparing for the Primary in Dance assessment.

This class nurtures discipline, creativity, and technical development while maintaining a sense of fun and achievement.

Key Features of the Class:

• Technical Development: Students learn basic ballet movements and positions with a focus on correct posture, coordination, and alignment.
• Rhythm and Musicality: Exercises are designed to improve timing, dynamics, and the ability to respond to music.
• Grace and Expression: Emphasis is placed on developing poise and storytelling through movement.
• Physical Skills: Activities enhance balance, strength, flexibility, and spatial awareness.
• Group and Partner Work: Social skills are nurtured through collaborative exercises that promote teamwork and interaction.
  

   

Exam Preparation:

The class follows the RAD Primary in Dance syllabus, preparing students for a formal yet supportive examination environment. Dancers perform set exercises, short sequences, and imaginative dances that demonstrate their progress, musicality, and joy of movement.

Goals:

• Advance technical and artistic skills in preparation for higher levels of ballet training.
• Cultivate confidence, discipline, and enthusiasm for dance.
• Encourage creativity and individuality within a structured learning environment

The Primary RAD Ballet class provides a comprehensive and enjoyable introduction to classical ballet, offering students a solid foundation for future RAD grades while celebrating their unique progress.

How to Book a Trial Class

1. Click the button below to go to our booking page
2. Select your class, time & location
3. Scroll down to find the ‘Book Your Trial’ button (NOT ‘Book this Class’)
4. Create your parent account and add child information (if you do not already have a class4kids account|)
5. Make payment and that’s it!

You will receive a booking confirmation for your trial class. We look forward to seeing you there!

After Your Trial

• After your trial week you will asked via email if you would like to book a place in the class
• You will then be asked to set up your monthly subscription plan for your class payment
• Payments are taken on the 1st of every month
• Subscription payments are calculated by: Termly Fee x 3 (3 terms in a year) / over 11 months (no payment is taken in August as we have no classes in August)
• You can stop your subscription payment anytime, by writing with 4 weeks notice to subscriptions@fixationacademy.co.uk
